First of all. THAT COVER! This is a book I’ve been really anticipating but apparently I had no idea what it was about. I thought it was contemporary. It is not. However—I’m invested now! And I really want to read more. I was a bit confused but that might have to do with the fact that I had incorrect expectations going in.
