First off, I absolutely adore this cover. It is gorgeous and so unique!! As for the writing, right from the first sentence Joan He hooks the reader and throws them into a very unique world. The descriptions of the surroundings was so vivid and the dialogue was enjoyable to read! I look forward to reading more of this beautiful novel.
