The Ones We're Meant to Find tells the story of two sisters in a futuristic future, full of robots and planetary pollution. The story begins with Cee waking up on an island, stuck with amnesia and a lone robot, U-me. We then shift to Kasey, called Kay, who lives off the island in a sort of city.
Overall, I was surprised by the futuristic nature of the story, given that the cover seems more nature-based. I was prepared for a story about sisters, but not the sci-fi components. This wasn't really the story for me, but I think people who like sci-fi or futuristic dystopias will love it!
