Futuristic stories are always troubling yet intriguing. I am glad to see an Asian own-voices novel with a beautiful cover to gather attention. Dystopian novels by Asian writers are not a norm, but they should be. Joan He writes with conviction and strength. I'm excited to read the rest of the book!
