Okay, so if there's one book coming out in 2021 that MUST be read, I'm starting to think that it's The Nine. Not because of the writing (though there is that), but because of the message and import it carries.
Set during WWII, The Nine is a true story about the author's (Gwen Strauss) real life-great aunt, and the women she worked alongside at a forced labor camp. Just, wow. It already sounds so intense, and the first look doesn't change that impression. This is going to be a must-read, I'm sure of it.
