This is a non-fiction book about the Holocaust and the French Resistance, so you know going in there will be difficult topics including torture, death and Nazis. It will have many moving parts and will make you so sad you will probably have to stare off into the distance for a while and then resolve not to think about it again. I’m too the point where I can hardly read WWII fiction so this book is probably way too much for me.
