Due to a high curiosity about this time period in my youth I had completely exhausted most academic interest in WW2 and thus did not want to read anymore books about that topic since then. However, this topic seemed very interesting to me and I would have wanted to read it, but the firstlook is written in such a way that it gave me a headache to read. This is not an insult to the writer but rather their writing and my reading tastes clash.
