I fell in love with this book immediately, like most people probably would after reading just the description. Gwen Strauss writes about her great-aunt and 8 other women who survived the terrors of Nazi Germany. What an amazing account. I love reading true stories about the Holocaust and this book perfectly fits the missing hole we've had of real women survivors. There has been numerous fiction lately, but a true story is a breath of fresh air. I don't expect it to be an easy book to get through, but very rewarding indeed.
