I received an Advance Reader's Copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. As can be seen by my Netflix history and recommendations, I love anything to do with suspense, revolutions, and action. This book was all of that and more. The plot twists were aptly named, and I was so surprised to read how some of them turned out. Evan was such an interesting character and I felt fully invested in her backstory. And I liked how there were female agents on both sides. It was a beautifully woven tale of spies and intrigue. I am so glad I had the opportunity to read the whole thing. Now that this has turned me onto the brilliance that is Eric Van Lustbader, I will no doubt be scouring the shelves for more works of art.
