The first few chapters were pretty confusing. Like getting dropped into a story and having no clue what was going on. I spent a bit of time wishing there was some kind of prequel to this. It would be beneficial to have some of those questions answered. How did she meet Butler? What's her past with Brenda? How did all of these people meet and come together?
Aside from that, it was a great book. I enjoyed Evan's suspicious nature a lot. I would recommend this book to folks who enjoy Russian spy type novels. Quite a bit of political drama. I've never been able to keep Russian stuff straight. The names and titles are similar and my brain ends up n confused and I have to go back and reread to keep them straight.
