This feels like the author has a personal bone to pick with Washington, D.C. The opening rant is way too strong. It's also really hard to imagine these thoughts coming from a woman's mind. Her thoughts as well as her physical description is really obviously written by a man, and one who apparently has never met or attempted to understand a woman. Hard pass for me on this one.
