I would not really recommend this book. I think this was catered towards people who have an obsession Korean culture. I felt like it could have been better written, the language written was pretty elementary level. The storyline was lacking substance and there was nothing that really kept me interested. I think it had potential but the way it was written did not give me enough. This isn't necessarily a bad thing but I thought that the characters liked it each other too fast and there was not slow burn or buildup. It ended up being anticlimatic. The main issue of this whole book was that it felt unresolved and how the problem ended up being resolved so smoothly. But overall I think it was pretty okay read so if you have a extra time on your hands then you should give this book a go. I do appreciate how the author talked about misogyny in Korean culture and brought attention to that.
