I couldn't get into the story. It started out slow and just seemed to go nowhere fast. I found it hard to want to keep reading the first look. I wasn't really into the plot or the two characters that were the primary focus. The story line wasn't catching my attention and it just seemed to get more boring the more that I read. Maybe I was completely disinterested. The writing style was okay but didn't quite mesh with my genre and/or regular reading style. The characters were young and that could have been part of the reason that it was hard to connect to them or want to follow their story. Maybe it would better serve young adult readers rather than adults. Kudos to anyone who is willing to put themselves out there and write a book and I am sure that there will be some readers who will enjoy the book thoroughly. I would be open to checking out other books by this author.
