I don't read much Romance, but everything about this book was calling me. The cover is amazing! The synopsis got me intrigued and the first couple chapters had me hooked! Susan Lee and the praise from Ali on the cover were also the factors that made me pick this up!
The story revolves around Jessica and Elijah. It is written in dual POV which I really liked. These 2 characters were so different that it was important to understand their perspective at the start. Then, as they spend time together, they start understanding each other and you realize they have similarities too. They are both good people!
There was no YA drama/non-sense. Even though these 2 were young, their actions were well justified.
I like how there was space created for other supporting characters like Jason, Jessica's dad, Elijah's sisters, etc. They supported the overall story very well.
I loved how it all came together in the end. I was rooting for HEA and it ended amazingly.
