I don't give books 5 stars very often, but this book absolutely deserves it! The Name Drop has been the best rom-com style book that I've read in 2023. It was a refreshing take on the genre, because the set up that leads the main characters together is one I've never seen before. The Korean culture that is included was fascinating, and really made the characters feel like realy people instead of cookie cutters. There was commentary on socioeconomic issues that was handled well too. I appreciated the fact that the relationship wasn't rushed, it all felt very natural. There were a few surprises that kept me reading, but really the main draw is the chemistry between the characters. Really, I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a sweet romance that isn't too heavy of a read. I really can't wait to read the next book from this author!
