Teens will love this

This is one of those that is SUPER not my vibe but is something I know my library's teens would eat right up. Any time I do a kpop/kdrama-related display they love it.

My biggest complaint is that the female main character comes off as really over-the-top clueless and awkward. Enough so that the main conceit of her having gotten this super competitive internship feels questionable...if she word-vomits this often, how did she get through the interview process without them deciding that she won't fit well in a buttoned-up office environment?? Not that I think the intended audience (teenagers) would think twice about this, but I did.

I feel like the suspension of disbelief needed for this book IS very doable if you like these sorts of plots and tropes! It's a great fit for the type of audience that would probably seek it out. Just not my thing personally.
