Coming of Age in a Country of Chaos
Having been born in 1964, I can understand growing up in the shadow of the Vietnam War, segregation and Watergate. The story is well written, gritty, absorbing, and gripping. The narrative is vivid and descriptive, leaving the reader wanting to know more about the characters in the book. It will be interesting to find out what happens with Tallulah, her brother Walden and the other people who bring this novel to life.
