I really enjoyed Whistling Past the Graveyard so I'm happy to see that Crandall has a new novel. I was immediately pulled into this book - from the first paragraph I was transported to the South in the '70s. It's evocative and the plot is intriguing, it seems like a great set-up for interesting and complex characters. I can't wait to read more of this.
