This cover just grabbed my attention and I knew I had to read this book. I enjoyed this queer dystopian book. I have not read a book like this one. This was a tough read. I got mad and emotional while reading. There were tears and angry rants to the void. Just the thought of rehabilitation communities makes my skin crawl. The thought that you can be ‘fixed’ to love the people others want you you to love is just abominable. I loved how some of the girls were able to grow despite this repression. Thankfully they were able to still find the love they deserved. I liked how the end was final. There is more possibility for them. The writing was awesome. I did not want to put the book down. I loved Eleanor. I just wanted to hug her though. I also had so much love for our side characters. I got some Girl, Interrupted and Handmaids Tale vibes while reading the book. I will definitely be reading more by this author.
