Wow. Okay. This book is the Sapphic dystopian I didn't know I needed in my life, but I am THRILLED that it exists! Told in dual timelines the story follows the main character Eleanor in her time at an institution called The Meadows and in her life now. The story tackles themes of conformity, societal norms, success, and the costs of choosing your safety or your happiness.

The Meadows is an institution that, at its core, is a conversion camp. Beneath its promises of "a better life" to those who graduate from its halls is its true purpose of turning out cookie cutter "productive members of society" as defined by the Quorum. Anything and anyone that falls outside of those bounds is immediately quashed.

I LOVED this book. Literally everything about it. The incredible cover art, the lovely prose, the ethereal descriptive imagery, and the character development between the timelines. RUN to pick up your own copy when it's released in September.
