I was really into the premise of this story, sort of conversion "therapy" meets Handmaids Tale meets Level 16 (the movie) and this First Impression did NOT disappoint. The description of the various "options" available for women was both creepy and fascinating.
The Meadows turns our idea of what "women should be" on its head, which I believe is more nuanced than many YA books seem to venture. This is a must-read for sure!
