I can understand the comparisons to Never Let Me go because the vibe that I am getting is of a slower dystopia. A slower dystopia can be good but this one does not catch me. I am not invested in the characters so far. I like the idea of the world being advanced and find it interesting that they allegedly irradicated racism (not really) but homophobia seems to still is going to be an issue in the story.
