I love dystopian books, and this one piqued my interest right away - is unique and thought-provoking. The world-building is amazing! I especially loved the eerie contrast between the coldness of the pristine white walls and the beauty of the boundless purple fields.

I love the main characters so far - Eleanor and Sheila are both bold, intelligent, and perceptive. I'm also intrigued by Rose’s character and would love to learn more about her. The book is atmospheric and immersive, with quiet danger lurking in every corner, veiled by deceptive beauty and archaic smiles.

The story reminds me a bit of Margaret Atwood's "The Handmaid's Tale" and Lois Lowry's "The Giver.” I loved both of these books, so I'm sure that I'll enjoy this one just as much!

I can't wait to continue reading to find out if Eleanor will reunite with Rose and find a way to reclaim her true identity! I am always in the mood for a sapphic dystopian novel!

The cover is beautiful and haunting, and the absence of facial features perfectly fits the story!
