I have read so many dystopian novels now, it is difficult to have a concept that feels new and original. Girls sent to a "special" school, to learn how to be the perfect wives and mothers. After all, that's what women are on the earth for during this book... I do love this quote from before Eleanor went to the special school:

The tree and I were both transplants, growing in dirt not our own. We
were both meant for other things.

One thing I didn't like, the chapters all flowed into each other, regardless of if they were from her time in school or her time before or after. I wish the chapter headings said "before" or something, so you know going into the chapter when it is taking place.
