This book was well written. The author was able to weave the historical events into an amazing fictional story about the passengers of the Mayflower, who were making the journey to the New World in order to start a new life as well as escape the persecutions they suffered in Europe. Mary Elizabeth was a well developed character. I really enjoyed the strength and perseverance she demonstrated throughout the months on the Mayflower towards the New World. William was a great man of strength and developed a strong faith in the Lord. The courtship between Mary Elizabeth and William was beautiful and satisfying. Overall, I highly recommend this book to those who love the stories of the men and women that set out to live in the New World.
