The beginning made me want to read the whole thing!

I found myself drawn in to the story right away, which is important to me. I think most of us know the story of the Mayflower and how it brought the Pilgrims to start a colony in the New World. This story tells it from the point of view of some of the (fictional) passengers. The idea of going to a New World was exciting to some, but caused fear and trepidation in others. What will they find once they get to the New World? Saying goodbye to everyone you know, knowing you’ll probably never see them again. Will you survive the ocean voyage? What dangers might you face once you arrive? The first chapters deal with preparing to go, and the first few days on board. I’m looking forward to reading this book once it’s published!
