I am not a big fan of historical fiction from this era, I have never enjoyed this time in history. But I thought let's give this first look a go. I was sucked in after the first chapter and was wanting more when the first look ended. This is a story of hardships, love (I'm guessing), decision making and growing up. I can only imagine what the book may have in store for the reader. Can't wait to read.
