Totally judging by the cover, this book is probably not for me. I'm not a huge fan of historical fiction because it can often be contrived and corny, and the picture of the woman on the cover evokes an American Girl doll for me. The plot about a pilgrim spy doesn't interest me and seems like it just might fall into the aforementioned "contrived and corny" category.
