This usually is not the type of book I would read, but it actually seems pretty enjoyable. There is a long list of terms and the author includes a cast of characters which was a nice, but maybe unnecessary, touch. I really appreciate seeing the list of terms though because they were almost all terms that I was not familiar with. I may have heard them before, but don't ask me their meaning.
I also find it interesting that this is the first book in a series. I wonder where it will lead to. This one will probably be good for lovers of historical fiction.
