THE MARVELLERS weaves a fine long tale of a Cloud Magic School with the wild diversity missing at Hogwarts.

While Marvellers are born with inside magic light, conjurers like main character, Ella,
rely on spells, singing, plants, and protecting the Underworld dead.

Illustrations (color!), notably of sky-ferries, the entrance to A.T.I., weather balloon,
stellacity sphere, Malyysuits, bell-blimps, wombies...would be welcome.
As well, a fold-out map of the Grounds would help to keep up with all the movements.

Ella, as the first conjurer to be admitted to A.T.I., is barely tolerated and somehow linked to the escaped murderer, Gia. Plot moves in many complex directions, with Ella finally happy with her Godmother Sera and Master T, just as she is rebuked by most of the rest of the school staff. She fortunately finds good friends in Jason and Brigit.

Unfortunately, Gia turns the plot from mystery into horror.
She slows the story with her boring predictable evil murders and kidnapping.

Sure wish that the promised sequel did not include her detracting subplot.

The Ending Quiz was a lot of fun!
