I was excited about this one from the moment I first heard about it, and this first look only made me more excited! This is the first middle grade I think I've seen Dhonielle Clayton do, and I feel like the voices are captured so well and engaging, and it just feels like something kids who look like me would love to read. I can already tell the plot is going to be good, and I can't wait to read it!
