While I am certainly not one to shun a Middle Grade read, I would not be likely to pick up the 'Marvellers' based on the cover. The cover is fetching enough, but just doesn't appeal. When I read the First Impression, I could not get into Ella's story. I don't care for adult fantasy and if I am going to read a Middle Grade selection I would rather it be historical or at least a realistic story. Not sure my Middle School grandchildren would fall for this read either.
