This first impression looks awesome! The cover is also beautiful and inviting. I think this looks like a great new children’s read. I like how Ella is the only Conjurer attending the Marceller school and what that means to her family and community. I also like the magic elements and New Orleans location of the conjures. Ella is a great main character and seems like a great inspiration. My only concern is how many similar elements there are to Harry Potter, but I think this will be original and entertaining.
