This was a nice introduction to the world of Marvellers, Conjure folk, and Fewels. I love the idea of conjuring leaving a mark. I imagine it as a beautiful tattoo that grows with her abilities, but expect that it will present our young MC as different from the other students. I would be interested to find out how Ella manages as the first integrated student in the Marvellers' school in what is likely to be an interesting middle grade novel.
