The beginning of this book somewhat reminds me of the worlds of Harry Potter and Percy Jackson. Its probably the lack of books at marketed to this age level that I've read since reading rick riordan and JK rowling, but its refreshing and exciting to read a book with that same amount of joy and excitement.
