I enjoy memoirs that make me think in new direction or open up the lives and experiences of others. The Manicures it's Daughter definitely has a voice that compelles me to read more. This story of one immigrant's experience and the shared commonalities that come from being a woman in America. I think there is so much to learn here that celebrates our common womanhood and Lieus personal experiences. Bravo for having the courage to share this story!
