Sounds intriguing and provoking.
This book sounds dark, depressing and thought provoking. But yet, interesting and intriguing. For some reason, that I can't exactly explain, something drowns me towards this memoir. Maybe the fact, it is memoir.
"The Manicurist’s Daughter is much more than a memoir about grief, trauma, and body image. It is a story of fierce determination, strength in shared culture, and finding your place in the world."
I would like to read this book and see what secret the daughter found out about her mother.
