The first few pages of this book is so emotional and raw. I'm interested to see where this will go. Does the narrator know the whole story? Will she have to learn to live with it exactly as she knows it? This truly is the cry of a daughter left behind, not only without her mother, but with all of the baggage the manner of the mother's passing has left behind.
