Memoirs are among my favorite genres of books, and this sounds like such a unique and touching story. This attacks the assumption that once the US, you can live the American Dream, since Susan Lieu's mother died in a botched surgery. I am looking forward to reading about her and her family's immigration story, the struggles they faced in the process and once in the US, and am terrified of but intrigued by the medical aspect of this story and the inherent risk there.
