The Manicurist's Daughter sounds like a really interesting read. I wasn't even aware it was a memoir until I read the synopsis. The story the author is going to tell sounds really heartfelt and tragic. I really enjoy people learning about their family history, learning where their family comes from. The tragedy of the plastic surgery sounds so sad. I enjoyed what I read of the synopsis and the First Look.
