Wow the first couple chapter of this book was very intense! In a good way because it made me want to read further but it was sad. Centering around a vietnamese born writer determined to publish a memoir about her family’s history. It opens with her having intense pain from a ruptured ovariy. Scary since her own mother died so young after a tummy tuck procedure went horribly wrong. I would love to read more.
