I can relate to Susan's upbringing and culture clash with Vietnamese immigrant parents. The beauty culture and standards are unrealistic and those wanting to achieve these goals go through great lengths to fit that mold. It's really sad that some people can't love themselves as they are. To me, true beauty comes within. The cover is unique, but I likely wouldn't pick up this book if I saw it. However, getting the blurb and sample, I'm interested reading more.
