Intriguing cover and eye catching. I generally like memoirs and The Manicurist's Daughter is no exception. I enjoyed the author's writing style and being Asian American myself, I could relate to how the author felt in an Americanized world. It will be interesting to read what really happened with her mother, and what prompted her mother to undergo body enhancing surgery.
