There's a fierceness and urgency to Susan Lieu's writing that had me turning page after page. As she introduces her story, her mother's tragic death and the hold that not knowing why has on her, I felt her emotions and determination. I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the book, and really like the simple yet striking cover.
