I really liked this book. I thought the premise a great. I am not really familiar with Cambridge or that whole world of academia. I loved the education I received about Greek tragedy. I thought the tie ins to Michaelides book, The Silent Patient, was just the right amount....so it didn't matter whether or not you read the first one. This is not a sequel. Some of the plot was a little unrealistic. Which took me out of the book. The psychotherapist running around trying to solve murders and happening upon things that the police missed was too unrealistic for me. But, even putting that aside, I did enjoy the flow of it. There were not any slow parts and went along nicely. I looked forward to reading it and finding out the mystery!
