I know everyone is excited to jump into reading this one, and it’s a super anticipated upcoming release. Let me tell you, it’s for good reason. Mariana is a therapist, still grieving the accidental death of her husband. She’s also certain that Edward Fosca is a murderer – a murderer who killed a friend of Mariana’s niece, Zoe. To help Zoe, who is distraught over the murder, Mariana takes a trip to Cambridge where she believes the police are not taking her concerns seriously. So what does she do? She investigates it herself of course! Sprinkled throughout this book are references to Greek mythology, but in a way that make it fun to read about; it definitely doesn’t read like a history book. If you can read Greek, you’re in for a fun surprise! Definitely preorder this one. I may have accidentally read the entire thing on one lovely Sunday. Thank you so so much (as always) to Celadon Books for my ARC. I love reading their books, and I’m always excited for the next one. I can’t wait until The Maidens comes out so we can all discuss together - June 15!
