This story follows Mariana who is a trained Psychotherapist. Mariana is also a very young widower. She is completely destroyed at the loss of her husband and is having a hard time getting past his death. Mariana received a telephone call from her niece stating that her friend has been murdered and Mariana drops everything to go and investigate the murder.
I love great murder mystery but what I do have problem with is when you have an untrained individual attempting to solve a crime when trained professionals cannot. I understand that this is fiction and I do really enjoy that but I do have a difficult time reading about it. The mystery is great and the greek mythology intertwined with the story is fun. I did like Mariana but at times her over the attitude could be a bit much.
Overall, I loved the story and the ending and I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a great murder mystery and thriller.
