Alex Michaelides once again brings us to devour a book in one sitting with his insanely captivating and suspense filled writing. The author brings your to constantly question your belief on who the suspect is, making you change your mind at least five times before you reach the ending.
The author's psychological thriller is very well written and I love the Greek mythology references.
The books follows Mariana Andros, a group therapist, in her quest to find out more about the murder of her niece's friend in Cambridge. With a great dark academia setting, we encounter a "cult", a professor that seems to fit the part of a suspect perfectly and an unexpected twist.
The reason I am giving 4 stars was because of my high expectations due to his past two novels that were easily 5 starts. Still a great book that I will keep recommending to all my friends.
