Right off the bat, Michaelides throws you into this world with Mariana. In just a couple of pages, I am already so invested in her life. I can already tell this is going to be an amazingly written book. It has characters that are going to make the reader uncomfortable and push them out of their comfort zone.....Now it's time to find out what was on that TV!!
