To be honest, I added this to my to-read list before reading the description or sneak-peek! Alex Michaelides did a fantastic job with The Silent Patient, and I would give him the benefit of the doubt even if The Maidens sounded terrible. Even better, the description is intriguing and the tension started building from teh opening pages. Can't wait!
